Let sales discount, without giving away the margin

Three roles, one storefront

• Customers quote and order at their tier price after approval. They see prices and progress, never costs.
• Sales reps see costs, margins and imposition alternatives for their own customers, quote on their behalf, and place orders for them.
• Administrators approve customers, set tiers, assign reps, edit pricing parameters and margins, and see every order.

Tier pricing that applies itself

Each customer is assigned a tier with a discount. Every quote applies it automatically, so a gold customer never has to ask for their price and a rep never has to remember it.

Discount cap and margin floor

On top of tier pricing, a rep can lower the price for a specific quote. Two limits apply: a maximum discount percentage, and a minimum gross margin calculated from the cost snapshot. The browser shows the limit as the rep types; the server checks it again when the order is placed. Administrators are exempt.

Everything on the record

Orders lock the pricing parameter version and a cost snapshot. Each order carries a log of who reviewed, adjusted, produced and shipped it. Deactivating an account signs it out immediately.
